Let’s face it: the world isn’t the one it was even 5 years ago much less ten or twenty. And it’s a far ‘scarier’ place today — causing peole to try to consider their options if things were to ‘go south’ leaving them to find a way to fend for themselves.

The reality, though, isn’t as simple as some are trying to convince us.

Satellite phones? Certainly, an option — but we all know we’ll ultimately lose access to our accounts whether through banking issues, power outages or even EMF or EMPs. And if one cannot pay their bill? Even if the satellites aren’t physically affected, satellites will not be accessible unless people are able to a.) communicate with the company holding their accounts, and b.) maintain a financial relationship with them.
